Computation Service

The iC1 provides computing services to its more than 40 members and partners since nearly 20 years ago, which serves as a tool to carry out their research work.

PROTEUS, the so called service, comprises a set of computers connected by high-speed network running on GNU / Linux, which is known as Beowulf cluster. This architecture is particularly flexible for tasks of various kinds, and greatly facilitates maintenance.
